Warranty Terms

Definitions: 

Jetwave means “Jetwave Technology ….”

Warranty means manufacturers warranty 

Website means www.jetwave.com

Authorized servicer or reseller means authorized by Jetwave and registered as such on the website 


Jetwave Warranty

Jetwave provides a 3 year (36 months) warranty, ensuring that the products will be free of defects arising from faulty materials or workmanship in the normal use of the product. The warranty period starts from the date of the original invoice and is applicable to all Jetwave products either sold directly by Jetwave or any authorized reseller.

If during this warranty period the products will have material- or manufacturing defects, Jetwave will grant you one of the following services at its discretion within the scope of this warranty:

  • Free repair of the product or part 
  • Free replacement of the product or defective part 
  • Compensation for the cost of repairing or supplying the replacement of the product or part

The following information need to be accompanied with the warranty claim:

  • A copy of the purchase invoice
  • The customer’s name and address
  • A clear description of the defect and the circumstances in which it occurs
  • Any further information reasonably requested by Jetwave to verify and support the warranty claim

Warranty claims will be validated by Jetwave based on the warranty terms and period as stated in this warranty document.


Shipping cost

In case of a valid warranty claim, Jetwave will bear the shipping costs associated with the back and forth shipment of the defective product or part. The coverage of the shipping costs is limited to the place where the product is originally sold.


Mandatory maintenance

Each product which is within the warranty period has to be maintained thoroughly according to the maintenance instruction. In case the product is not maintained in a proper way, this might lead to refusal of the warranty claim. The conditions for this maintenance are described in the User Guide and can be found on the Jetwave website.


Exclusions from the warranty


Warranty claims are excluded in the following cases

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper or abusive treatment
  • Failure to take care of safety precautions
  • Use of force (resulting in physical damage)
  • Repairs or modifications to the product not performed by an authorized servicer
  • Environmental influences (e.g. heat, humidity etc.)
  • Failure to take care of the mandatory maintenance
  • Personal injury, death, property damage or economic loss, however caused

Products submitted to Jetwave under a warranty claim and which are determined, upon inspection, that it is not a valid warranty claim, it might lead to charging the costs of shipping the product (back and forth), before the product will be returned. Jetwave may also quote you of any service charges if it’s determined a service is recommended for the product, but no service work will be done without a written approval of the customer.


Local governance

This warranty is governed by the legal provisions of the country in which the product was purchased. Nothing in this warranty excludes or restricts statutory guarantees that cannot be excluded under local laws. This warranty should be read subject to the provisions of all relevant laws, and, where required, Jetwave (legal entity) will honor its obligations under those laws.

This warranty is additional to any applicable statutory guarantees.
